The CNSA – Club America (Edmonton) is the first such academy in Canada

Canada (Press Release) March 5, 2008 -- About the Canadian National Soccer Academy – Club America
(CNSA-Club America):

The Canadian National Soccer Academy – Club America, is an affiliate of the Mexican professional soccer team: CLUB AMERICA. This world-famous team is owned and managed by the largest TV station in Latin America: TELEVISA. The team Club America has created academies with the objectives of promoting professional soccer training for young people, of finding new soccer starts for their soccer team network in Mexico, and of producing players that could also be promoted for teams outside of Mexico. The CNSA – Club America (Edmonton) is the first such academy in Canada and will report every month the advances of their students to the Club America headquarters in Mexico City, so that Club America can track the progress of the Canadian students.
